Terms of Service

Last updated: 20 October 2026

1. About us

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern the use of the JinglyGlow online store and all purchases made through it. The store is operated by:

  • Owner: Claudio Castro (sole trader), trading as JinglyGlow
  • Address: Carrer Vicent Serra Llaurador, 12550 Almassora (Castellón), Spain
  • Email: jinglyglow@gmail.com

In these Terms, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to JinglyGlow, and “you” refers to the person browsing the store or placing an order. Our store is hosted on Shopify.

2. Acceptance of the Terms

By using our store or placing an order, you confirm that you have read and accept these Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy and Return and Refund Policy, which form part of the contract. Please read them carefully before ordering. You can download or print them at any time from our store. We recommend keeping a copy for your records.

If you are a consumer, nothing in these Terms limits or excludes the rights you have under the mandatory consumer protection laws of Spain, the European Union or your country of residence.

3. Who can buy

To place an order you must be at least 18 years old and have legal capacity to enter into contracts. Our products are intended for personal, non-commercial use. We sell worldwide to all destinations available at checkout, subject to the restrictions in our Shipping Policy.

4. Products

  • JinglyGlow sells decorative LED projection lights with Christmas and holiday designs that project images and patterns onto ceilings and walls, together with related accessories.
  • We make every effort to describe and display our products accurately, including their main characteristics, dimensions, power supply, safety information and warnings, as required by the EU General Product Safety Regulation (EU) 2023/988.
  • Images and visual content: some images and videos on our store and in our ads are created or enhanced with digital tools, including artificial intelligence, to illustrate how the product and its projections look in a room. The actual projection effect (size, sharpness, brightness and colours) depends on the distance to the ceiling, the colour and texture of the surface, and the ambient light. Projections are best seen in a dark room. Where an image is purely illustrative, this is indicated or should be understood from the context; the product description and technical specifications prevail.
  • Colours may vary slightly depending on your screen.
  • Products are subject to availability. If a product becomes unavailable after you order, we will inform you immediately and refund any amount paid within 14 days at the latest.

5. Product safety and use

  • Use the product only as described in the instructions supplied with it and on the product page. Read all safety warnings before use.
  • Do not look directly into the light source or point the projector at anyone’s eyes.
  • The product is a decorative lighting item, not a toy. Keep it, its small parts, cables and any batteries out of reach of young children and pets. Children should only use it under adult supervision.
  • Unless the product page states it is suitable for outdoor use, use it indoors only, in a dry place, away from water, heat sources and flammable materials.
  • Use only the cable or power adapter supplied or one with equivalent specifications. Do not cover the device while in use.
  • At the end of its life, do not dispose of the product with household waste. Electrical and electronic equipment and batteries must be taken to a separate collection point or recycling centre in accordance with the WEEE and batteries regulations.

If you identify a safety issue with any of our products, please contact us immediately at jinglyglow@gmail.com.

6. Prices and taxes

  • Prices are shown in euros (EUR) or, where currency conversion is enabled, in your local currency for information purposes. The amount charged will be the one shown at checkout.
  • For deliveries within the European Union and the United Kingdom, prices include VAT and any other applicable taxes. You will not be asked to pay additional import VAT or customs duties on delivery; if a carrier requests any such payment, contact us and we will reimburse it.
  • For deliveries outside the EU and the UK, prices do not include import duties, local taxes or customs fees that may be charged by the destination country. These are the responsibility of the recipient. See our Shipping Policy for details.
  • Shipping costs are shown separately before you confirm your order.
  • We may change prices at any time, but changes will not affect orders already confirmed.
  • Pricing errors: if a product is listed at a clearly and obviously wrong price due to a technical or typographical error (for example, a price that is manifestly far below its real value), we will contact you before shipping to offer you the option to confirm the order at the correct price or cancel it with a full refund.

7. How the contract is formed

  1. Select your products and add them to the cart.
  2. Go to checkout, enter your contact, shipping and payment details, and choose a shipping method.
  3. Review your order summary, where you can identify and correct any input errors before submitting.
  4. Click the final button to place your order (labelled “Pay now”, “Complete order” or similar). This button means your order involves an obligation to pay.
  5. We will send you an order confirmation email. The contract is concluded when we send you this confirmation.

The contract is concluded in English. We keep a record of your order, which you can access through your customer account (if you have one) or by asking us. We may refuse or cancel an order in case of suspected fraud, incomplete or incorrect information, or legal restrictions in the destination country; in that case we will refund any amount paid in full.

8. Payment

We accept the payment methods shown at checkout, which may include credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay and other local methods. Payment is charged when you place your order. Payments are processed securely by our payment providers; we do not store your full card details. In accordance with EU law, we do not charge any fee for using a particular payment method.

9. Shipping and delivery

Delivery times, costs and destinations are described in our Shipping Policy. Unless a different time is agreed, we will deliver your order within 30 days of the order date. If we fail to deliver within the agreed period, you may give us an additional period appropriate to the circumstances; if we still fail to deliver, you may cancel the contract and receive a full refund. Risk of loss or damage passes to you when you, or a person designated by you, take physical possession of the goods.

10. Right of withdrawal, returns and legal guarantee

Consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal and a legal guarantee of conformity of 3 years (for consumers in Spain; at least 2 years under the law of other EU countries). The conditions and procedure are described in our Return and Refund Policy, which includes the model withdrawal form.

11. Customer accounts

If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.

12. Discount codes and promotions

Discount codes and promotions are subject to the conditions stated when they are offered (validity period, minimum spend, eligible products). Unless stated otherwise, they cannot be combined, exchanged for cash or applied to orders already placed. If you return products bought with a discount, the refund will be the amount actually paid.

13. Reviews and user content

If you post reviews, photos or other content on our store or tag us on social media, you confirm that the content is truthful, belongs to you and does not infringe the rights of others. You grant us a free, non-exclusive, worldwide licence to display that content on our store and social media in connection with JinglyGlow, which you can revoke by contacting us. We publish reviews from verified buyers and do not suppress negative reviews; we may remove content that is unlawful, offensive or unrelated to the product.

14. Intellectual property

All content on our store (texts, logos, the JinglyGlow name, images, videos, designs and code) belongs to us or to our licensors and is protected by intellectual and industrial property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute or use it for commercial purposes without our prior written permission. Third-party trademarks mentioned on our store belong to their respective owners.

15. Acceptable use of the store

You agree not to use our store for unlawful purposes, to introduce viruses or malicious code, to attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, to scrape content automatically, or to place fraudulent orders.

16. Liability

We are liable for the products we sell in accordance with applicable law. We are not liable for damage caused by the use of the product contrary to its instructions and warnings, for indirect losses that were not foreseeable when the contract was concluded, or for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control (force majeure), such as natural disasters, strikes, pandemics, carrier disruptions or actions of public authorities. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, for defective products under product liability law, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.

17. Third-party links

Our store may contain links to third-party websites (for example, payment providers or carriers). We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

18. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in force when you place your order will apply to that order.

19. Complaints and dispute resolution

If you have a complaint, please contact us first at jinglyglow@gmail.com. We will acknowledge your complaint and reply as soon as possible and in any event within 15 days.

We are not currently adhered to any alternative dispute resolution (ADR) body or consumer arbitration system. If we cannot resolve your complaint, you may contact the consumer authorities of your region or country (in Spain, the consumer office of your municipality or autonomous community), and the European Consumer Centre network (ECC-Net) can help with cross-border complaints within the EU. Please note that the EU Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform was discontinued on 20 July 2025.

20. Applicable law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, this choice of law does not deprive you of the protection given to you by the mandatory provisions of the law of your country of habitual residence (Article 6 of Regulation (EC) No 593/2008, Rome I). Consumers may bring proceedings before the courts of their place of residence or before the Spanish courts. If you are a business customer, any dispute shall be submitted to the courts of the city of our registered address in Spain.

21. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
